There are many ways to do it (even with its variations) but here we share one of the simplest and tastiest recipes you have ever seen.
Preparation time:
30 minutes (+ 2h for rest in the refrigerator)
Ingredients for 6/8 people:
- Biscuits* (300g)
- Mascarpone (500g)
- Coffee (sweetened as you please)
- Fresh eggs (4)
- Sugar (100g)
- Bitter cocoa powder for decoration
Full recipe:
Take the eggs and separate the yolks from the whites;
Whip the egg yolks with an electric whisk, pouring half a dose of sugar for now;
Then add the mascarpone and continue to incorporate little by little;
Once all the mascarpone has been incorporated and a thick and compact cream has been obtained, clean the whisk and whip the egg whites by adding the other half of sugar little by little;
Once the egg whites have been whipped, gradually add them to the previously whipped yolks, stirring gently from the bottom up;
Once ready, spread a handful of cream on the bottom of a baking dish;
Soak the biscuits you have chosen for a few moments in the previously prepared coffee and spread them on the cream previously placed on the pan;
Continue adding more cream to the layer of biscuits spread out to form more layers;
Level the last surface and sprinkle the unsweetened cocoa powder and let your cake rest in the fridge for about 2 hours.
After two hours, your tiramisu will be ready to be enjoyed!

*In Italy we usually use Savoiardi biscuits but many other dry biscuits are excellent for this recipe.
** For an even tastier recipe, try it with our spicy blended coffees: for example, for an even tastier variant we recommend our Caffè d'Italia in chocolate-flavored capsules.
